Ultrasound #3 - You're Not Going To Believe This

It's still alive. Now we had a different ultrasound tech today so she measured it 3 days ahead instead of 1, but we're not sticking to it too much because, according to my doctor, each tech uses a different spot to do CRL measurements so it could differ between them.

Stats:
CRL 2.10 cm (0.82 in)
Heartrate: 158 bpm
Measuring: 8w5d
No blood near sac, ovaries still enlarged but not an issue.

I guess I'll be able to breathe for another couple of weeks. Once (if) I can get to the point when I can listen on the doppler I bought 2 years ago I'm sure I'll relax a little. But I'm going to continue to need some reassurance ultrasounds through 12 weeks.

Inhale..................exhale..................for awhile.

By the way, we're about to reach that fourth milestone (beating the past 4 pregnancies). I don't know how to be pregnant past 9 weeks. I'll just live each day being thankful, grateful, and in awe.

PS: I wore my transfer socks to this ultrasound. And the last one too. I find them comforting, and lucky!

Lurker here... just wanted to say Congrats! Awesome, awesome news! :) What a beautiful little one...

PS - I read your blog from the beginning a few weeks ago and I LOVED your posts with your retrieval and transfer socks. I got some "Egg" and "Chick" socks of my own for my egg retrieval and embryo transfer. I hope they are as lucky as yours were! :)

Yay, it's a baby! One day at a time, the 1st trimester is down-right excruciating, I can't imagine what it's like with your history (and I say that with a tender-loving heart). Every week is another milestone. Keep us updated, I'm feeling really good vibes that you will be holding a baby in 7-ish months!

Hey Christa!! Congrats on a beautiful ultrasound today! That's too funny that we were in the stirrups at the same time today :o) I too had transfer socks.. though I didn't have eggs and chicks, just daisy's and life is good on them. Lucky socks obviously worked for both of us!
I'm right there with you .. inhale.. exhale.. and celebrate each week and hurdle that we make it over. YAY

I'm so glad your ultrasound went well! I think it's really funny - I measured a day ahead at the 5 week ultrasound with Dr Simckes and then 3 days ahead at the 8 week one. Maybe he or Aaron sprinkles MiracleGro on the embryos?!? :):)

Yay for 9 weeks on Sunday!

Gorgeous pics--how cool to get a '3D' one at that stage!

I remember one of my early ultrasounds, my doctor had the embryo measuring three days behind, then twiddled the wand and got bang on target for the IVF dates (I think he was determined to find an angle that matched how far along I was).

Congratulations as you pass your milestones, and I'm hoping 12 weeks will be here before you know it!
